Despite her short span of independence since 1965, Singapore widely known as the "Garden City" of the world has already amassed several accolades to her name, one of which is being being named to Time's Annual List of World's Great Places in 2021. In March 2023, Singapore Tourism Board and Time Inc visited several iconic sites around Singapore and talked to some pioneering individuals behind the scenes to find out why.
